Data Assessment

Institutional Data

In this section, we present information about our students and faculty. Most of the charts and graphs in this section focus on our student population, providing numbers and percentages to show who our students are in terms of diversity, age, where they live, what programs they are enrolled in, and how many have graduated. We also present information about enrollment and graduation trends over time to show the growth that Ashford University experienced, and the rising number of students progressing through their programs and completing degrees as a result of that growth.

By viewing the information in this section, you will notice that the majority of our undergraduate students are not typical college students between the ages of 18 and 22. Many bring with them a number of transfer credits that are applied toward completion of their Ashford University degree program. Due to the non-traditional nature of our program formats and the non-traditional nature of our students, measures of enrollment, persistence, and graduation rates presented here may differ greatly from those of a traditional college campus.
